Northern Youth Football and Cheer

Northern Youth Football and Cheer (NYFC, formally the NYRA) is a
501(c)3 non-profit, recreational organization devoted to teaching football and cheerleading to youth from ages 5 to 13 and/or in grades 1st through 8th grade in the Northern York County School District. 

The foundation for success of the Northern Youth Football and Cheer program begins with what our organization believes, how we behave, and the outcome that we expect to achieve.  These principles are understood by our coaches, their support staff, and our athletes.  We believe in developing our community’s young athletes by teaching good sportsmanship, honesty, discipline, and respect in a safe, challenging, and fun environment.  We believe in the power of the group.  The group is defined not only as the organization itself, but also the community where we live.  Our behavior reflects our beliefs in that we demonstrate positive attitudes and a common commitment to each other to achieve our goals.  Our goal is to achieve competitive excellence in football and cheer on a consistent basis.
